What Should I do Before I Call RJH Contracting Inc.?

Having the answers to the following questions will help us provide you with the best possible service.

1. What is your budget?

This question can be interpreted as "how much am I prepared to invest in my home at this time?" Take what ever dollar amount that is, remove 10% (this will act as a buffer) and then remove 12% for HST. The resulting amount is what you should provide when we ask for your budget.

2. What is the primary intent of your renovation? What are your priorities?

This question can include any or all of the following considerations: Is there a fundamental problem with the functionality of the space? Or is it simply an update that you're looking for?

3. What is your timeline for this project?

Is there an upcoming important event such as a wedding or new addition to your family? Having the answers to these questions will help us integrate your renovation with the rest of your life, rather than have it intrude upon it.

4. Design and style.

Do a bit of research into the kind of 'look' or style that you are going for in your renovation. Trade magazines and websites are great places to find inspiration. If you don't already have a design consultant, RJH has partnered with a talented roster of award-winning and green-minded design professionals who can help turn your ideas into great design. Either way, it's a good idea to know what you like, or even more importantly - what you don't like!
